Earthworks is a leading innovative provider of high-quality natural stone solutions for residential, commercial, and architectural projects. With a commitment to precision and craftsmanship, we are looking for a Draftsman to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed CAD drawings and shop drawings for stone fabrication.
- Interpret architectural and landscape drawings and translate them into accurate stone shop drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers, customers, architects, and fabricators to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications.
- Revise drawings as required based on feedback from clients or internal teams.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing archives for projects.
Requirements:
- Experience as a draftsman, preferably in the stone, construction or architectural industry a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and landscape drawings or ability to be trained to do so.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn the detail oriented lucrative business that we are in.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of stone materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques are not mandatory, but a plus.
